TexNov launches its acoustic division
Building on its expertise in building coating solutions, TexNov is taking a new step forward with the launch of IsoTex, its division specialized in architectural acoustics.
Powered by advanced Basotect melamine foam technology, our new solutions deliver exceptional sound absorption with remarkable lightness.
Offering architects and designers unprecedented creative freedom, Isotex panels are made from Basotect melamine foam, a high-performance acoustic material known for its lightweight structure, flexibility, and exceptional sound absorption capabilities. Its open-cell composition captures sound rather than reflecting it, effectively reducing echo and improving speech clarity in both residential and commercial environments.
Designed to target the frequencies of the human voice, these panels transform the acoustic experience of a space, making it more comfortable, intelligible, and enjoyable on a daily basis.
In practical terms, this means:
-
High acoustic absorption focused on speech frequencies
-
Significant reduction of echo and reverberation
-
Improved comfort and clarity in conversations
Beyond performance, Isotex also stands out for its sustainable approach and high safety standards:
-
Low carbon footprint Basotect foam
-
Supports LEED credits (EPD available)
-
Fire certifications: ULC S102 (Canada) and ASTM E84 Class A (USA)
Easy to handle and install, the panels can be mounted on walls or ceilings, suspended, or integrated into custom configurations. Their versatility also allows them to be cut into tailor-made patterns, enabling bold visual concepts and spaces with a truly unique creative signature.

Our acoustic solutions

Isotex integrates seamlessly into a wide range of environments where acoustic performance is essential for both comfort and functionality. In educational settings such as classrooms and auditoriums, it enhances speech clarity and reduces listening fatigue, creating spaces that support focus and learning.
In high-traffic public environments, including aquatic and sports complexes, arenas, retail spaces, and restaurants, the panels help control ambient noise and significantly improve the overall user experience for both visitors and staff.
Professional and industrial spaces, such as offices and industrial facilities, also benefit from improved speech intelligibility and better sound control, contributing to increased concentration, safety, and productivity.
For specialized applications, Isotex meets the highest acoustic demands in recording studios, performance halls, shooting ranges, and anechoic chambers, where sound precision and control are critical.
Ultimately, any space that requires high-quality acoustics can benefit from Isotex, whether the goal is to improve comfort, communication, or the overall sound environment.

Easy installation
IsoTex is lightweight and does not require assistance for installation. It easily adapts to building corners thanks to instant adhesion.
LIGHTWEIGHT & SELF-SUPPORTING
IsoTex is lightweight, so contractors don’t need assistance. The adhesive provides instant bonding without putting stress on structures.
FLEXIBLE ORIENTATION
Panels can be installed horizontally or vertically, shaped to fit building corners. No constraints on format or angle.
OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION
Foam panels should not hang more than 3 meters — a central hook is installed approximately every 2.4 m, about 50 mm from the cable, to prevent sagging.
